Anton Dolin. Cinema and propaganda

Anton Dolin is one of the most prominent contemporary Russian-language film critics, former film columnist for Vecherniy Urgant and former editor-in-chief of Art of Cinema magazine, and now the host of his own YouTube show Radio Dolin and podcast Film Stories.

During this meeting Anton Dolin will talk about Russian films that we all know almost by heart, but are mostly unknown to the rest of the world. Anton has recently published a new book "Bad Russians: Cinema from "Brother" to "Patsan's Word", in which he explored the deep connection between propaganda and film art. And, in particular, it turned out that much of the screen fiction eventually became reality.
