"If we are talking about Mandelstam's poetry, that is, the poetry of 'omitted links', it is quite unclear how to comment briefly on the several worlds he created. I've narrowed down my task: I've laid out a period of his life so that everyone can get close to Mandelstam's poetry by connecting emotionally." - Says Roma Liberov.

The lecture, which will take place on 16th July in Nice, is a touch to the living word, which for all of us today is the poetry of those who survived emigration, war and repression 100 years ago.

Roma Liberov is a director, screenwriter and producer. He is the author of films about Brodsky, Dovlatov, Mandelstam, Olesha, Ilf and Petrov, Platonov, the producer of After Russia, the album and film Save My Speech Forever, dedicated to Mandelstam. 24 artists, including Leonid Agutin, Ilya Lagutenko, Noize MC, and Oxxymiron, took part in the production of Save My Speech Forever, based on poems by Osip Emilievich.
