Georgian Song and Dance Ensemble "Erisioni" in Padova 10 March 2024

This event is simply impossible to miss! In the spring of 2024 the famous Georgian song and dance ensemble "Erisioni" is travelling to Italy!

Georgian ensemble, which has become a real legend
This ensemble is not without reason called the ensemble-museum. During its performance the history of Georgia seems to come alive on stage. The audience hears the famous Georgian polyphonic singing, sees colourful, incredibly emotional folk dances performed by artists in colourful national costumes. Everything that happens on stage allows the audience not only to enjoy the splendour of the action, but also to learn something new about this wonderful country, its past and present.

In 2023, the internationally popular ensemble celebrated its 138th anniversary. During its almost one and a half centuries of history, the ensemble:

presented to the public many grandiose show programmes that became world-famous;
recorded the composition "Chakrulo", which travelled through the galaxy with NASA astronauts;
sang the song "Samaia", which Universal selected for its collection of the best performers of different times.
The talent of the Erisioni artists is applauded all over the world. In Georgia itself, the ensemble was awarded a star of honour, thus marking its great achievements.

The success of the ensemble owes much to the famous choirmasters, conductors and choreographers - Sandro Kavsadze, Grigol Kokeladze, Kirile Pachkoria, Anzor Kavsadze and others. At different times they have worked as part of "Erisioni".

Since 2015, Shermandi Chkuaseli has been the headmaster of the ensemble. It was with his participation that a new programme called "Georgian Treasures" was created. It has already been presented with great success at numerous concert venues around the world. Very soon the audience in Germany will be able to appreciate the skills of singers, dancers and creators of the grandiose action.
