Boombox is a well-known Ukrainian music group. Their songs, such as 'Vahters', were a reflection of the era of Khrushchev flats, cheap wine, dates in squares and small part-time jobs. Boombox concerts in Europe will give you the chance to enjoy great music and relive your own memories. If you are a fan of the band or you just got acquainted with their creative work, for example, having heard "Oy u luzi chervona kalyna", visit the concerts by all means.
Boombox are always on trend. Their ability to reflect the contemporary mood is one reason why they have remained popular since their inception in 2004. The band has become a full-fledged family, but music has always been important to them, even when they were in the police force or doing volunteer work. According to frontman Andriy Hlyvnyuk, "Who says you have to give up songs in war?" - and that's what inspired them to continue their creative activities.
The official date of the band's formation is 2004, but for several years before that they were writing songs and performing for their friends. Their first album "Melomania" was released in 2005, and in 2008 they released the album "III", which was the foundation of the band's success. Today, only their song titles, such as Beta Carotene, Nuts from Jamaica, Kviti v volosi, Ta wha and Naodintsi, remind us of those times.
