On 23 March, fashion historian, collector and art historian Alexander Vasiliev will be speaking in Vienna. The Maestro (as Mr Vasiliev is known in Russia) will present his most popular lecture on the history of the world's fashion houses. The talk will be about such outstanding personalities as Yves Saint Laurent, Coco Chanel, Christian Dior and Gianni Versace. Alexander Vasiliev will also talk about how the couturiers of the past century managed to create the fashion world we live in today, and why the legacy of great designers will remain the main source of inspiration for young creative directors for a long time to come.
