The Hardkiss: the story of their meteoric rise

The story of The Hardkiss began in 2011, when Yulia Sanina, a young journalist who had previously performed with a youth jazz band, and Valery Bebko, a music producer of the Ukrainian version of MTV channel, werethe founders of the project .

Initially their pop duo was calledVal & Sanina. The first tracks in Russian were not very popular. Then the musicians decided to add "heaviness", to write in English, to change their image and at the same time the name of the band. That's how The Hardkiss appeared - and it started!

In a few years the rock band managed to become one of the most popular bands not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe. The band's successes have been recognized by many music awards. Among the most prestigious are YUNA, received for the Make-Up musicvideo , and M1 Music Awards 2016 in the nomination "Alternative".

During their creative activity, the musicians have released several studio albums, including:

The best compositions of The Hardkiss are "Mayak", "Korabli", "Cobra", "Cranes", "Sister". They are known and listened to far outside the country.

The authors of all the songs are Julia and Valery. Sanina is a permanent soloist of the group, Bebko is a guitarist and creative producer. Apart from them, the rock band includes two more musicians - a drummer and a bass guitarist.

Working together, they managed to combine incompatible things: melodic parts, heavy arrangements, deep meaning of lyrics and soulful vocals of Julia Sanina. And also to turn every concert into an impressive show.

Its main peculiarity is the style of the vocalist, who changes stage images relentlessly. Crazy outfits with tiaras, bracelets and wigs of all colors of the rainbow, which are invented by the stylists of the band, combined with the hard rhythm of music and powerful drive leave no one in the audience indifferent.
